Dispatches from the Matrix: Scallydandan’s Fidget Electro House Podcast – ‘Fourth Reich’

I’ve been working on a cute little synchromystic piece in the background of my halloween posts, but need to do more research yet to do it justice.  Meanwhile, I keep finding these multimedia gems I want to share.

I love podcasts.  People are so wonderfully creative.  I stumbled across the following dance music podcast while surfing iTunes and had to post.  It’s fun conspiracy dance music. . . and it’s pretty cutting edge for dance music.

The genre is fidget house, a new genre that’s very sci fi in feel.  It’s loud, insistent, great to drive or workout to.  It’s all over the place, literally, but  being warped by dance clubs in my teenage years, I have grown an avid appreciation for the maternal, earthen timber of bass, and bass is the thru line in this mix that takes us through the chaos bubbling above.  I also like conspiracies.  And I like it when the two – bass and conspiracies – come together – as they do in the first song of the mix below.  He takes a fun dance beat and mixes in an interview with Jim Marrs from Coast to Coast AM.

Enjoy.
