Half-man, half-wolf – The legend of the werewolf has kept countless children from wandering off into the woods at night. A staple of Halloween, werewolves were bound to show up in our 30 Days of Halloween somewhere.
The werewolf holds a special fascination for me since I moved to the great forests of Northern Michigan. Up here the werewolf is called The Dogman, and while I have not seen it, a friend of mine has and has told me an incredible story about it [he's written it up but I didn't find it on his blog. . .I will try to get him to let us post it here.]
