Enjoy the antics of "Mardevil," otherwise known as Marlene, the "Days of Our Lives" doyenne, otherwise known as Electro-Woman, heroine of my childhood afternoons, otherwise known as Deidre Hall, glamorous soap star. Deidre’s performance is truly mind-blowing in its epicness, but she was never rewarded for it by the Emmy people, which is kind of a crime.

I’d believe her evil bits even if she weren’t wearing crazy contact lenses and talking through a voice modifier. I’d even believe her without the floating. The Days people pretty much threw the entire daytime-soap-opera-level-special-effect-book at this storyline.

It has a lot of floating and gloating and howling and glowing and praying and crazy and super strength and shoulder pads. It also has lots of hazy-filmed sexy stuff, with lots of bare shoulders and whispery moaning and "Oh, did I just get accidentally naked in front of you again?" I’m not promising you’ll make it through all 191 videos. It depends on how long you’re able to maintain an ironic distance for the lulz. I made it up to around 126.

In summary: it’s long, easy on the brain, sometimes creepy, sometimes hilarious, sometimes like what you might see if "The Exorcist" was rated PG and seven hours long.
