Anywho, you are SO last year with cars, please click on the Car tag at Gosporn for all articles that relate cars to grails, vessels, stargates etc. Once you realize that cars are grails, it’s hard to actually drive because the symbols come at you so fast and thick!

The heart symbol is one of my personal synchs I have kept close. Varen and I met on Valentine’s Day, associated with hearts. Valentine is a Catholic corruption of Cupid, the Greek Eros. Eros is THE gay God. The Heart of Mary, the Heart of the Ocean, you really can’t find a more contested symbol. What is really weird is that Varen’s sister has an online jewelry store called Heartsmith.

Which brings me to an interesting point about symbols – they are what we make them. I personally think that the the so-called Illuminati, etc. are masters of symbolism, which is the “currency” of Magick. But the magic only works if I accept the symbols unconsciously. So it becomes a sort of contest, where I see the symbol, and then attempt to “own” it. So I don’t automatically accept the symbols (like the heart) that are rammed down our throats daily without some research and introspection, and likewise with the symbols we are taught to fear, like the inverted star or the swastika. They’re just symbols, and they can’t hurt me unless I let them. Gay men and all minorities do this… they “own” the symbolic slur so that it is rendered powerless to harm them.

It’s funny you should mention Hermes. I happened to watch The Odyssey on SciFi channel today and Hermes is one of the Gods in it, bringing messages to the gods.

W. Mark Felt Sr., the associate director of the FBI during the Watergate scandal who, better known as “Deep Throat,” became the most famous anonymous source in American history, died yesterday. He was 95.

“He slipped away,” she said.

As the second-highest official in the FBI under longtime director J. Edgar Hoover and interim director L. Patrick Gray, Felt detested the Nixon administration’s attempt to subvert the bureau’s investigation into the complex of crimes and coverups known as the Watergate scandal that ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard M. Nixon.
